Spring Break
On the week before one of the most highly anticipated games ever played at Sanford stadium, Larry Munson decided it was time to move on from what he does best: calling games on the radio for the Georgia Bulldogs. The news that Munson is hanging up his headphones isn't really surprising to me (though perhaps the timing is) considering his age and health, but it's a day the bulldog nation had long hoped to put off.

The surprising Falcons cemented their legitimacy on October 5 when they visited intimidating Lambeau Field to square off against the Green Bay Packers.
While the Georgia Bulldogs are in the heart of their football season, GSC is in the midst of one as well. The GSC flag football intramural league is a league filled with students who want to compete and have a good time playing the game they love. This league is "very competitive," said Josh Kinsey, captain of the team Forsyth's Finest.
Don't let low paying jobs, high gas prices, short expensive drinks and tall hotel fees stand in the way of having a good time in Jacksonville, FL during the UGA-Florida game. The economy is constantly leaving students with less and less money. Gas prices have risen over 120 percent in the last two years and food prices have risen 22 percent in the last two months.
Sure, we live in the south and in a town where it seems every weekend is revolved around one three to four hour period that we spend all week preparing for. Then along comes Saturday and it's an all day event. To be quite honest, I'm kind of ready for a midseason break or two.
The #10 Georgia Bulldogs took care of business Saturday evening, beating the visiting Tennessee Volunteers 26-14. It was a game that was never in doubt, even when Tennessee pulled within six points in the third quarter. Georgia dominated the line of scrimmage, the play clock, and out-gained the Volunteers by 249 yards.
Over three hundred and sixty miles separate the University of Georgia's famed arches and Alltel Stadium in Jacksonville, Fla. This is where the Dawgs battle the Gators in a rival football game. With towering ticket prices and even higher gas prices, why would anyone want to make the trip to Jacksonville without a ticket? Katy Sinkler, a Gainesville State student who took the trip without a ticket says, "Going down to Jacksonville was worth it, just for the experience.
