On the week before one of the most highly anticipated games ever played at Sanford stadium, Larry Munson decided it was time to move on from what he does best: calling games on the radio for the Georgia Bulldogs. The news that Munson is hanging up his headphones isn't really surprising to me (though perhaps the timing is) considering his age and health, but it's a day the bulldog nation had long hoped to put off.

The #10 Georgia Bulldogs took care of business Saturday evening, beating the visiting Tennessee Volunteers 26-14. It was a game that was never in doubt, even when Tennessee pulled within six points in the third quarter. Georgia dominated the line of scrimmage, the play clock, and out-gained the Volunteers by 249 yards.

With towering ticket prices and even higher gas prices, why would anyone want to make the trip to Jacksonville without a ticket? Katy Sinkler, a Gainesville State student who took the trip without a ticket says, "Going down to Jacksonville was worth it, just for the experience.
